Recent reviews at the Four Points by Sheraton Seattle Airport South reveal a mixed experience, with significant safety concerns raised about room security and inconsistent service. While some guests praised the staff's responsiveness and the convenience of the location, others reported issues with cleanliness, shuttle reliability, and frustrating interactions with hotel staff. Overall, the property seems to struggle with delivering consistent quality.
DO NOT STAY HERE. SAFETY CONCERN. While I was getting dressed and ready for my event, I heard my door unlock and open. A man that I had never seen before was able to unlock my door and open it slightly. Thankfully I had the deadbolt on. But I have never felt so unsafe and scared at a Marriott. I am sure you can imagine the fear I was feeling as a woman traveling solo. When I called the front desk, they said they would send someone up but no one came. They never escalated the issue and I had to tell the manager myself the following day. I have also contacted corporate. I’m literally having nightmares about a stranger being able to unlock my hotel room door. The man didn’t knock or say who he was. DO NOT STAY HERE
I stayed at this Four Points hotel for a quick one-night stay while in town for a job interview with Alaska Airlines, and I need to shout out Kylie at the front desk because she is an absolute LEGEND. From check-in to check-out, Kylie went so far above and beyond that I’m honestly still blown away. She was warm, genuine, attentive, and made me feel truly taken care of during what was a pretty high-stress trip for me. That level of care is rare in hospitality these days, and I haven’t experienced service like that in years. You can tell she genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what she does. She turned what could’ve been a standard hotel stay into something memorable and comforting when I really needed it. This woman is a gem. Give her a raise.
Delta airline sent us here after 4 hours delay, otherwise this is not a brand I would pick. The room has the thinnest blanket I have ever seen. Curtain and heater are not working either. Room is freezing. Too late to change anything as it’s already 3-4 am. So ridiculous. Shuttle bus is quick and front desk staff is polite. But still, don’t come here
We paid for park and ride ($135.32 for 9 days), having seen on the website that a shuttle runs every 30 minutes. We arrived at the hotel with plenty of time for that, but were told that the shuttle didn’t start running for another hour. No start time was mentioned anywhere on the website or in booking. The information was entirely misleading stating only that “after 3pm our shuttle runs on demand.” In order to not miss our flight we spent $27.69 on an Uber. On our return, we followed the instructions to call for a shuttle, which we did at 1:55pm. We were told the driver was on break but would be there at 2:30pm. We waited. I called again at 2:45pm and was told the driver had just left and should be there shortly. I called again at 3:15 and was told the same thing. Finally the driver arrived at 3:22. It was a 12 minute ride to the hotel. We could have walked faster than it took for the shuttle to arrive. I guess that’s what we get for going with a cheaper option. Would be fine if you enjoy missing flights and standing outside in the cold for almost an hour and a half. We also got a great gauge for which other hotels and park and ride groups would come by faster. Answer: All of them. Multiple times over. They probably would have been cheaper too, if you factor in the extra money we had to spend to catch an uber. I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel amenities, since we just used the park and ride service. Maybe it’s lovely. But if you’re counting on the advertised ride to and from the airport - don’t.
I was initially impressed by the affordability of this sheridan , but the inconsistency and service and outright rudeness of the night auditor Chris caused me to cancel my stay. They also have the entry door locked to guests and many things miss signed, closed or unavailable...pool-not available, onsight food- not available, manager- not available. The rooms both had repair and cleaning issues, including a red/brown spatter on the wall and scuffed/marred furniture. I changed rooms, but found new issues.
I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Seattle Airport South for its convenient location near the airport. The hotel feels a bit outdated, and my room had an off odor upon arrival, which was a bit off-putting, but I decided to make the best of it. I was disappointed to find no conditioner or soap in the bathroom, as I expect hotels to provide these amenities, especially since I didn’t bring my own. Additionally, I initially thought the A/C wasn’t working, which added to my frustration. However, the staff’s response was impressive. I contacted the front desk through the app, and they replied quickly. Within minutes, a maintenance team member was at my door. He explained how to use the A/C controls (my mistake!) and promptly provided conditioner and soap. The quick resolution turned my experience around. Overall, while the hotel could use some updates and better attention to room amenities, the staff’s responsiveness and helpfulness made up for it. I’d rate it 3.5/5—convenient and decent, but there’s room for improvement.
I would not recommend parking there for airport parking if you want to be picked up by the shuttle on your return. Called 6 times with various poor service issues from being put on hold twice and not picking the call back up. Another to say the shuttle person was returning from lunch and on his way, being sent to a full mailbox because no one answered, to another front desk person who had no clue what was going on because she just came back from lunch. We ended up buying our own transportation to get back to our parked car with zero explanation as to why the shuttle never came for almost 2 hours from the front desk when we finally arrived! The room was okay. The bar staff was friendly and great service. Front desk seemed rushed on arrival. But I will never stay here again due to the poor shuttle service and front desk lack of knowledge or care/concern. Sheraton you can do better!
I will try to give as much info as possible. Stay was mixed in experience, leaning towards negative side. 1. Check-in - A common lobby area for hotel, a breakfast restaurant, and an Indian restaurant. Isolated check-in in 1st floor. 2nd floor has a gym and I didn’t use pool as it was chilly. Checking was smooth no issues. But it feels like hotel doesn’t care much about you once checked in. 2. Parking - 19 usd a day for a non gated non-guarded parking is ridiculous. Although they have good space. Parking is on the 2nd floor, go around the hotel lobby (behind hotel) and you will find it. 3. Service- Despite asking for room service 4 times, they didn’t clean the room for 3 days. I stayed for 5 days btw. The 4th time I called I was put on hold forever. I accepted my fate of a dirty room and threw away trash myself. The next day someone did clean it, but it was already too late and frustrating. 4. Facilities- Gym has treadmills and decent weights section. It’s a decent gym for a hotel. Didn’t use the pool or icemaker etc. 5. A Homeless passed out in the lobby restroom and my wife saw her and told the management and ER came in. Looks like she was high and then woke up and ran away. So this stuff can happen in this location. 6. The Indian restaurant Aadat is awesome, so makes the living easier. 7. Room - the room itself was clean but bead is so not comfy, bed and pillows should be much better. I got back and neck ache, and so did my wife. The view from 6th floor of the lake was phenomenal though. Best thing about the hotel I think. Edit- updated overall rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. The stay wasn’t as bad as 2 star but it definitely wasn’t above 3.
Good location, though the parking setup was a bit confusing. The hotel was clean, and I appreciated the wired internet connection. The ironing board was shorter than expected and there was no microwave in the room, but the breakfast was very good. I also liked that there were multiple restaurants and plenty of meeting rooms on-site. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and the price was reasonable for a Seattle hotel. Overall, I would strongly consider staying here again on my next visit to Seattle.
Stayed there for two nights, rooms were good but toilet seat was too low and shower pressure sucked. Reason for staying there was trying Kanishka restaurant which was 4.3 out of 5.0 I guess the restaurant runs some kind of Indian food buffet during the weekend hence attracting highly anti-deodorant H1-B’s. There was a large crowd of H1-B’s lounging in the hotel lobby after a heavy buffet. They were not the hotel guests, just availing the free facilities meant for the hotel guests. Overall it was a 4.0 out of 5.0 experience.
