The Seattle Airport Marriott offers a convenient location near the airport with frequent shuttle service and generally positive guest feedback. However, recent reviews highlight concerns about inconsistent service, outdated facilities, and occasional room issues like malfunctioning equipment and cleanliness concerns. While some guests praise the friendly staff and comfortable beds, others report difficulties with resolving issues and outdated amenities.

Extremely disappointing experience. I parked in the hotel’s clearly marked 15-minute parking area with the intention of briefly entering the hotel to buy a coffee from the café inside. This was not long-term parking in any sense. Even after I clearly explained this to the valet attendant, I was still refused permission to park. No alternative was offered, and the interaction felt rigid and unhelpful. If a hotel provides a 15-minute parking area but does not allow guests to use it even for a quick visit to an on-site café, it raises serious questions about service standards and management. This single interaction was enough to leave a very negative impression. I would not return.

This hotel seems older with a cosmetic refresh. One of the beds in my room had hair balls on it. I was only there to sleep 7-8 hrs so I just slept in other bed. Went to Lounge and it was small but the cookies were good! The shuttle ran on time and quickly to airport at 4a. Rental car center to hotel was $27 for the mile ride.

I stayed one night before a flight out the next morning. The hotel is very close to the airport. The outbound shuttle service was outstanding, leaving every 15 minutes. The hotel is a bit on the old side, but the room was clean. The bed was comfortable as well. The issue I had was the inability to run the fan for air circulation as well as white noise to help sleep. Case in point, I was woken up at 2:30 am to my neighbors having sex. I won’t be giving this hotel another try. Sleep quality is too important.

From check in front desk clerk Ms. Mercedes (who drives a Toyota) was phenomenal. Love her sprit and excellent customer service. Then this morning we had Otis (in the restaurant) well that service was over the top. I had to come back to my room during breakfast to get a bigger tip for that type of service. UNBELIEVABLE. We still have another day here and I’m sure the service won’t change. When you book in Seattle, it will be your lost if you don’t pick this hotel.

This Marriott is… fine. The building is older and you can tell it has been “refreshed,” but in places it feels more like paint was slapped on than real upgrades were made. Some areas look decent, others feel tired. The front desk staff was genuinely kind and helpful, which went a long way. Unfortunately the valet experience didn’t match that. The attendant spent most of the time on his phone and wasn’t very engaged or helpful. The gym was usable but very basic. A few machines and dumbbells, but no bands, no foam rollers, no blocks. It works if you just want a quick workout, but nothing more. In the room, the power outlets at the desk were worn out and loose, which made it hard to keep a laptop plugged in. Small thing, but annoying when you’re trying to get work done. Tv screen was blue tint. Seemed it was worn out Overall this stay felt like a good summary of where Marriott is right now. Not bad, but no longer special. Just kind of average….. thus why they have to offer at such a low rate

We stayed here and were really impressed with the fresh, modern look of both the hotel and our room, it felt new and well maintained. The Marriott service was excellent, as expected. The hotel was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The TV was modern and had Netflix. The bathroom was excellent and the shower area was super clean. These details are important to me when choosing a hotel. Our only minor complaint was that the room was a bit on the smaller side. It’s a great place to stay in near Seattle Airport.

Stayed overnight while transiting between an international flight to a domestic flight. There is a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes and is available 24/7. The room was quiet considering how close it is to the airport, and aircraft noise was minimal. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. There’s a restaurant on site open until 11 pm (last order at 10:45)

I worked all day on my birthday and on my way home I stopped to get myself a beer at the Hotel restaurant/bar. The bartender was really friendly and attractive. I mentioned it was my birthday and a few min later was brought a piece of cake with a candle in it. The bar sang happy birthday ? made what was a boring birthday feel very special ??. Thank you Marriott staff for the very happy birthday ?

As expected with most airport hotels, you won't find much around. 7-11 3 minute walk. I find that when a hotel has nothing around their food and beverage prices go up. Cup of coffee for example $6.50 The rooms are beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. Housekeeping not so good. Found several long dark hairs ( I'm blonde) in the sink and an old Keurig capsule still in the coffee maker. That just makes you wonder what else do they miss.

I stayed at this hotel before flying to the Midwest for work, and I had a good experience. But unfortunately, two days later when I was on my way home and arrived at the hotel, I was informed that the room I had a reservation for was no longer available. So in the middle of the night, I had to go to another hotel, which negated the convenience factor of staying across the road from the airport. It is also impossible to talk to anyone at the hotel on the phone if you need to reach them. The number for the hotel takes you to an automated service and then the call simply ends. My recommendation for the hotel is to not overbook in order to preserve short term profit at the expense of their long term reputation. Because it is quite disappointing when a paying customer who has already been charged $250 for a room arrives in the middle of the night after a long flight, and their room has been given to someone else. If someone has paid for a room, the hotel should provide the room they already charged someone for. And I would recommend establishing a phone number that allows customers to talk with someone at the hotel if needed. On the positive side, the location is good and my room the one night I was able to stay was quite clean. And the waiter in the restaurant was excellent. FOLLOW UP NOTE: Careful readers may see a reply from the front office manager to my review, in which he offers to correspond and "resolve any outstanding concerns, including a review of the charge for the night you were unable to stay with us." Since he only provided an email address, I have tried to reach out to him via email. Unfortunately, I have received no reply (after two weeks) to my email and I still have not been refunded for the night they sold my room, which I had already paid $250 for, to someone else. Again, this hotel has some strengths, but if you are trying to make plans that you can rely on, I regret to say that you should consider booking a room at a more trustworthy hotel.
