Guests praise the affordable, pet-friendly hotel's clean rooms and exceptional staff, specifically noting the modern facilities and convenience of the free 24-hour shuttle service to Seattle-Tacoma Airport. The property is located near transit and services, though a few guests reported maintenance issues with the HVAC and noted that parking lots and hallways can feel dim or intimidating upon arrival.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was polite and always ready to help and Overall, it was excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again in the future.
I gave my experience here a 5 star. Now keep in mind this is obviously not a 5 star hotel but the experience was great. Price was on point! 75 for a king room was unbeatable and I just had a 14 hr delay so I just needed a place to sleep. I also keep in mind that the free shuttle to and from the airport saved me aloy of uber/taxi money alone. Did I mention its only a half mile from the airport? And the shuttle (quality black sprinter van with red letter "red rood inn" on it) runs every 30 minutes. U just call and tell them what island in the airport your on and they stop. When its time to go back just show up outside the lobby 5 min. Before the leave time. Moving on the to the room. Now I will say rolling up to the hotel and seeing the lobby at 10pm didnt give a great impression (not a bad one either although I think someone was smoking outside and it wafted in) but for 75 im ok with that. I was pleasantly surprised by a very clean and modern room. The bed was good the bedding was quality. There was a microwave and fridge. The room was a little cold and I couldn't figure out the air conditioner. Either user error or locked out by staff, idk. It was fine though I doubled up the bedding and snoozed. If I could make changes I would upgrade their coffee quality but thats about it and not enough of a negative note to warrant taking a star.
Stayed here when visiting a friend for a short trip from Philadelphia to Seattle. Very accommodating! Clean room, convenient location. No complaints. The front desk person even had an extra spoon to give us for yogurt we kept in the room and wanted to eat after many restaurants etc were closed. Great staff
Manager Mia and staff are wonderful. It’s my go-to layover hotel next to the airport. Room is spacious and clean. Their shuttle runs 24 hours and frequently. Their driver Hermen is very friendly and nice. Staff always accommodate my needs and are very helpful . Highly recommend!
Stayed overnight for following days connecting flight. Front desk personnel on duty that night 1/30/26 was so helpful and nice in assisting us with pick up shuttle from the Seattle airport. She even asked if we needed shuttle the next day flight… a very good gesture and care for customers. Harman, shuttle driver was so nice and courteous in his dealings with us and took good care of our luggage. He even went as far as getting us the big cart without asking for it. These are the trademark of excellence in service.
Reception staff was friendly, the new shuttle van (it’s unexpectedly black but with red lettering) ran on time and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is corporate-owned so better than some RRIs but looking a little beat-up, both inside and out. Rates are great though and its no-fee pet—friendly policy has me coming back every o/nt stay at SEA.
I stayed here during the time that the Green River was at an elevated risk of flooding my neighborhood (mid December '25). Two things led me to choose this hotel; 1.) It was affordable for me +/-$65/night and 2.) they allow pets (I had my cat with me). The staff was polite and even got me a box to make a cat pan (I brought garbage bags from work for a liner) upon request. The room was clean and comfortable (admittedly I had trouble adjusting to the firmness of the mattress of the bed). It wasn't stylish but that wasn't what I needed. The hotel is on International Blvd in SeaTac which isn't necessarily the safest location in the world but the hotel and parking area were secure enough. If I have a complaint it's that I was unable to do laundry in the machines they have due to a 'red flag' issue with my card. There is coffee in the morning but that's it although there is a nearby gas station with a mini-mart and a Denny's about a block or two away if you must have breakfast in the morning. Also, many restaurants deliver there so getting food isn't a problem either. If you're not looking for flashy amenities but rather a clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet room, I wholeheartedly recommend The Red Roof Inn in SeaTac.
Amazing I'm so glad I came here! Soooo accommodating! I walked here from SeaTac, it's that close. Then when I was done here, instead of having to figure out how to get back to the airport, they drove me there in their shuttle bus! Absolutely amazing humans & top notch experience. Right on the bus line if you want to explore Seattle and not mess with parking.
Yes! I missed a flight and had to book this last mín. You pay for. It's an older looking hotel and room but the staff was very nice. The room was basic and clean. The shuttle service was amazing. Good location closed to airport.
You get what you pay for in the look of a room. It's an older looking but the staff was wonderful. The room was basic and clean. The shuttle service was perfect. For the value it was. I will give it a five. If I were staying at the Ritz-Carlton it would get a negative two
