This Residence Inn is set up a little different than other R.I.'s that I've stayed at. The complex consists of separate 2 story building units that contain the individual suites. As such the units are spread out on the property. We stayed in a unit on the 2nd floor and was easily accessible via external stairs. However it's important to note that any of the 2nd floor units would be difficult to access with people with mobility issues; they would have to stay in a ground floor unit (of which there are plenty). Our 1 bedroom suite was spacious, clean,and modern. I was pleasantly surprised as previous reviews noted issues with run down furniture but we did not experience that issue. Parking was easy and plenty. Location was perfect for where we were going to (close/walking distance to Starfire Sports and Southcenter Mall). There is a 7-11 in front of the Hotel which was very convenient for after hours snacks and drinks, but also attracted some vagrants which may be uncomfortable for some. However, we did not run into any issues during our 3 night stay. The hot Breakfast was plentiful and typical of Residence Inn quality. Free fast WiFi for Bonvoy Members (free to join). We enjoyed our stay and would return in the future.

10 mins from airport. Great location with food and gas nearby. Rooms have a fireplace which is great, and they were able to accommodate a ground floor. Front desk did not have logs for fireplace so we have to purchase from 7eleven or Walmart. Breakfast buffet great. We like to stay here went traveling to Seattle.

Stayed here for one night because the other hotel that I was staying at had no water for 6+ hours. Artemis at the front desk was very understanding of my situation and very welcoming. She made a highly stressful situation for my family a bearable one. Please give Artemis a raise, a bonus, free Starbucks for the year, or something similar.

rooms all need to be updated. i stayed here 10 years ago and they have the same furniture now as they did then. bed and sofa were very uncomfortable and falling apart. sofa made a loud creaking sound every time you’d get up. no comfortable place to sit in these rooms. carpets badly need replacing. TVs are very old and outdated. i was only able to get one channel on my TV, so i was watching things on my ipad. i like the style of the property; it being outdoors and set up like an apartment. large rooms and the staff is great but it needs a lot of updating.

My husband, Salvador Barrientos and I are staying here in Residence inn, Tukwila. Excellent customer service especially Han, his quick response and expertise fixed our issue fast! Everytime we have a problem in our apatment, he is always ready to help, very reliable and easily fixed our issues quickly and efficiently. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. They always greet everyone so warmly. Breakfast staff are also very friendly, efficient and very attentive.I am a coffee lover and I love their fresh coffee. Cleaning staff- they are courteous, respectful, and very friendly, they left the apartment clean and smelling fresh. Overall great experience. For the past 10 months of staying here, it feels like home. Love to come back again next year, Jan.2026???

Not having great luck with the Residence Inn family of properties lately. The grounds at this place were subpar and so were the rooms. Staff was ok but not overly nice or helpful. I could’ve overlooked the dead grass and the feeling that I was in an old apartment complex but the one ply toilet paper and tiny bath towels in the room were enough for me to not want to extend my stay. I ended up needing to stay a few more nights so I booked those nights at a Courtyard instead of reserving more nights here. For the price paid, I’d expect some decent toilet paper ?

It's not the fanciest spot but it's clean and well maintained and the rooms are a great size. As a disabled person, I appreciated being able to walk directly from the car to the room without going through a big hotel. It definitely made the space more accessible. Also, their TVs let you use your streaming service, even a lot of the higher end places don't have that. The breakfast is pretty good, too!

The property is located in an OK area. You have to use your room key to enter the office/dinning area from the parking lot. That is a giveaway but, i would rather have that than a creepy guy come in touching things in the food service stations. That being said, the property is slightly run down. They have a slacker for a maintenance guy. Example, when I turned on the hot water in the kitchen sink, I got cold and when I turned to the cold side, I got hot water! Totally opposite! The shower valve when turned on, kept turning hotter by itself, i could have been scalded! The LED lights in the shower room were way too small for the ceiling cover and I could see into the ceiling with the wires! The heater thermostat was set to 68° and i had to over ride that setting every hour to stay warm. It was in the mid 20s all week! In closing, the staff was great! Especially the gal that maintained the food service area! She was so attentive, keeping everything clean, taking my plate when I was finished. Very pleasant person.

This property has bedbugs. I woke up to a bedbug crawling around half a foot away from my face. I transferred out of the hotel. The management refused to refund 3 of my 8 nights stay. They also move sketchy and if you don't want any headaches i wouldn't recommend this place: After i transferred out i came back into the room because i had forgotten something. I noticed that - the sheets were removed - place was swept clean 6 days later they called a pest control company and announced there were no bedbugs in the room. so, they cleaned the room and then called an inspector so the inspectors wouldn't find any bugs, and they wouldn't be accountable. Their solution was to give me 3000 points, which a nights stay is usually 10,000-20,000 points. That's disrespectful. I have 75+ nights and am a titanium elite member and that didn't make a difference either. Marriot corporate gave me attitude on the phone as if i was bothering them. I've swapped out to Hyatt for my future stays. I spent over 130 nights in hotels last year and have no intention of paying for this level of disservice both for personal stays and for my business.

I had a loft booked for a whole month. And two hours before check in they sent me a confirmation email for a studio room. They gave my room away and didn’t give any good solution.
