Guests praise the accommodating, friendly staff like Sydney and Scott, as well as the spacious, game-changing kitchenettes. However, reviews highlight a major management breakdown regarding deposits and on-site procedures (specifically requiring payment for a week at a time and evicting a family shortly after payment), alongside inconsistent room cleanliness.
Cindy is awesome. She is very polite and always has a smile on her face everytime I see her. Great customer service and very friendly. Thank you Cindy for making my stay here always comfortable.
These guys have been awesome! I messed up and booked in the wrong place with a third party app and the front desk and the manager helped me get fixed up very quick. Very nice and friendly and patient. Word to the wise, if you use third party apps. Check that location, double check it before you hit the book button! Fantastic five stars stay!
Now that I've had time to process it, I can Begin to talk about My trauma from being a guest here. It took some therapy but I came out the other side awiser and better person. It was my wife and our 6 year old autistic son and myself staying at this establishment. Every morning taking our son to school dropping him off coming back. We did this for 2 weeks at$600 a week. I was giving a key card and was told it was good until Feb 12th. My receipt didn't say when I was to pay next all I know is I get a phone call after Dropping my son off at school on February 6th.\n Saying I needed to come and pack up my stuff that corporate wanted me out. As I was supposed to pay 2 days prior I asked why they didn't inform me. They said they tried They knocked on my door once yesterday morning. At the time that I was gone taking my kid to school as I had been for weeks. No, no, it was left on the door and even though I had the money to pay as soon as they called and told me, I had to pack up my stuff. It was not an option. I needed to leave the premises. I wasn't allowed to rebook and get a different room. I wasn't allowed to pay and continue staying in the room that I was already living in now. Mind you, we had several car loads of belongings cause we had been staying there for a while with our kid that didn't matter. It was out of their hands. They said it was corporate, so I called corporate. And they said it was out of their hands that the people at the building had already made their decision.\n So we were ordered to pack up as quickly as possible. And leave the premises, even though we had the money\n Now, mind you, I had the money to pay for a whole month in advance and they don't let you they only let you pay for a week at a time.\n Creating all this confusion I'll never stay with them again. They had no empathy for my family, and I and they tried very little to inform us that we were supposed to pay a note on the door would have been The answer to it all , since we weren't there to answer the door
My boyfriend and I have been here since the end of Sept. 25'... We have the single queen bed size room that comes with a kitchenette. Our room has def grown on the both of us! Okey, let's turn our attention to the staff & management.. First of all, my man and I have met all the staff, including the manager, Scott and the assistant manager, Sydney! Both are very polite, they address both of us by name, which we now, reciprocate, makes everybody feel good!! My favorite staff member is Sydney! She is a "go get er" type of female and so easy to talk to! If I ever have an issue that needs to be brought to attention, I would go to her first, for sure!
Great location!!! Rooms are clean and welcoming. If you're like me and find yourself here for a while, having the kitchenette is an absolute game changer. Coffee and muffins in the morning are a nice bonus. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and maintenance man are always friendly and eager to help. Glad I stayed.
I have stayed in many of hotels over the years and I can say the this hotel exceeds all expectations. All staff is incredible and polite and it reflects from there leadership. Managers Sydney and Chris are an example of what true customer service and hospitality is about. They always have a smile on their faces and will greet each guest by name. If you have any kind've issue they will do there best to help resolve the situation. If you are coming to Washington I highly recommend staying here. Quiet, clean, safe, excellent hospitality.
I'll start off by saying that Sydney at the front desk is helpful, kind, and goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service :) She deserves a raise or a promotion or both! There are not enough people in the hospitality industry these days that show hospitality. So when I came upon her, it was a really nice change of pace. She accommodated my early check-in request and also made sure that I was put on the floor that I wanted and in the corner room that I requested. Overall the rooms are clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet even though they are located in a busy city. On my most recent stay here, I was unable to make it back to my room before checkout due to unfortunate circumstances and I was happy to find that all of my things had been nicely packed up and put in a locked room and my electronics were put in the manager's office. So thankful that the expensive things i packed were safe and accounted for.
I don’t know why all the bad reviews. Most hotels don’t even provide a free breakfast of any kind. Their coffee is really good and my kids LOVED the hot chocolate and chocolate muffins. The customer service is great as well as the management. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Thank you Sydney and all the staff for keeping us safe and out of the rain. Also having patience with my children on the spectrum. I would definitely come back!
I want to take a moment to thank Sydney at the Extended Stay America in Tukwila. When I arrived, things weren’t going as planned — I was late, no one was around, and it could’ve easily turned stressful. But Sydney completely turned it around. She handled everything with kindness, patience, and real care. I’m here for medical treatment, and she made the whole process effortless, which meant more than she probably realizes. Sydney is a beautiful person inside and out — professional, compassionate, and the kind of person who makes people feel truly seen. It’s people like her who keep the world turning — the ones who bring kindness and calm when it’s needed most. She made a lasting impression, and because of her, I will be a repeat customer. — Crystal
Some minor issues with the room (super small and fixed most myself). Everything else handled by staff in the best possible ways. Issue with key card after rebooking another week. Clearly some kind of tech glitch that was resolved quickly. Came to stay during a difficult season. Their care and compassion has made all the difference! They consistently put themselves last and clients first that it’s been easy to feel like I’m “home for now”. Any “problems” were outshined by the staff!!!
