Extended Stay America Suites Seattle Tukwila receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its affordability, cleanliness, and helpful staff. However, recurring concerns regarding staff behavior, sanitation issues, and potential conflicts with management significantly impact the overall experience. Recent reviews highlight a concerning trend of negative interactions and unresolved issues.
Shredder is so polite and nice. She has great customer service. The rooms are nice as well. But definitely come stay and visit with shredder. Its a great location and good clean surroundings.
Awesome service, however if I could give this place a 0 stars I would not hesitate. Thank you Shreauder great check in. Rooms were Filthy It was smelly. I only had 5 hrs to get some sleep. I could smell cigarette smoke from underneath the door. The drawer was Missing. I don't think the Housekeeping ever came to the room and mopped it. Terrible. Pay a few more and go elsewhere Worst experience EVER!
Had a slight flood evacuation scare. So we came here for a couple nights. Very affordable and the kitchenette was much appreciated! Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and even called us after fifteen minutes, to make sure we enjoyed the ?
By far the best extended stay I've stayed at, very comfortable and clean. The staff arrived great, super accommodating and helpful. It'll be a new go to when flying into Seattle. Highly recommend.
John Coste, the general manager of the establishment. He was consistently rude and unprofessional. My family and I had already paid for our rooms online, yet we were told we needed to pay again. Instead of assisting us, he simply walked away from the desk, refusing to help. We ended up paying twice. To make matters worse, we were given the wrong keys and couldn’t access our rooms. When we confronted John, he wrongfully insisted he provided the correct keys, despite our inability to enter. Worst of all, both of our rooms were infested with cockroaches, preventing us from getting any sleep. We approached another staff member at the front desk, but they were unhelpful and merely acknowledged the cockroach problem, assuring us someone would come to spray that day. I strongly advise against staying here—save your money and choose a different hotel.
This place is quaint. The rooms are old… So you’re gonna have your chipped paint and cracks and what not, but the staff is very responsive. If anything is broken, they will come and fix it within 24 hours. And for the most part, the neighborhood is fairly safe. The location is great for my current needs… It’s right next to a rapid bus line that takes you a few minutes up the hill to the light rail. So definitely worth the money from a traveling sense.
this is by far the NICEST!!!! Extended Stay i have ever been to, and it’s been a lot of them, the staff is amazing! kind! informational and if you have a chance to meet Kalily at check in she is the sweetest kindest front desk attendant! the beds are so comfortable, the tv is amazing, the shower is just perfect! smells amazing! quiet area! and best of all they even have affordable vending machines in the laundry for easy access that’s secured and feels safe! coming back again for sure!!!!
Rooms were clean, affordable, and front desk staff was friendly. Bed was more comfortable than I expected. Easy freeway access, but also means you can hear it at all times, if that bothers you. Definitely some interesting clientele, but not anything worrisome or dangerous.
Went in on Friday to check in to my room. I am fleeing from abuse and trying to make it night to night in hotels. My best friend came in with me because I am in a bad mental space and having a hard time talking with people. The woman at the front desk refused to let me check in because the friend I had with me, whom was not in the reservation didn't want to give her ID as they weren't staying at the hotel. The woman then said she has to cancel my reservation because he didn't have ID even though he wasn't staying. I pleaded with her that I spent my last on this room for the weekend, and that if I wasn't able to check in I would have to sleep in my car for the night. She told me it's not her problem and that if I can't prevent ID for somebody who isn't even staying there, that it would be against hotel policy and I needed to cancel. They did refund me eventually but only after an entire weekend of car sleeping to avoid a shelter and going home to abuse. The woman was extremely unpleasant and even walked away and took another customer's phone call regarding a comfort issue while in the middle of talking to me.
Very clean and comfy with cable and wifi. It has access to stores I like that are in walking distance. impressed with the kitchen supplies. Feels like home. Front desk very kind and helpful. Free breakfast in the morning . They have on site vending machines, washer dryer and ice machine. Lastly it is next door to a quant casino/bar and grill.
